What is the minimum order quantity to enter the volume program?
The volume licensing program begins at 5 users. Volume licenses can be ordered in the exact quantity that you need.
What are your license agreement requirements?
DataViz end-user license agreements are based per handheld device for our mobile solutions and per desktop computer for our file translation software. Licenses are transferable to different users employed by the same organization that purchases the volume license.
Am I required to make additional purchases or pay monthly fees?
The volume license program does not require an additional commitment beyond your initial purchase. With your one time purchase, you own the license permanently with options to extend upgrade protection and phone support in the future.
Will my volume license include any type of upgrade insurance?
A volume license includes 12 months of free upgrades from the original date of purchase. When new versions of the software you purchased are released, DataViz will automatically contact you to provide the new version.
What do I receive with my volume license?
DataViz will provide a link to download the purchased software along with a customized volume license agreement which indicates the number of licenses you own and the dates of the free maintenance term.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
Normally volume licenses are processed the same day. The DataViz representative assigned to your account will provide a download link and license documentation to the point of contact at your company. A media kit will be made available to you upon request for applicable products.
What is your support policy?
Your volume license includes access to no-fee technical support for a point of contact in your organization while your agreement is current with us. Our support staff is accessible in a variety of ways. The technical support section of the web solves over 90% of the questions our customers ask. You may submit a question via our web site, with a fax or call us to speak to one of our representatives directly Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern.
Can I purchase upgrade protection once my free term expires?
DataViz will notify you prior to your maintenance expiration with an option to continue receiving upgrades and support for an additional 12 months. Our maintenance pricing offers a greater discount than individual upgrade orders. License maintenance is also available when placing your volume license order, extending your license agreement to a 24-month term.
What do I do when I need more licenses?
When you need more licenses than the agreement covers, you may contact us or your favorite reseller to add licenses to your agreement. A new license agreement will be sent to you with the updated quantity for your license. Maintenance terms are based on the date of the initial purchase.
