Conversion specifications, called Conversion Specs, are a set of instructions that define for SmartList To Go how you want an import or export process to be accomplished. You will create a separate Conversion Spec for each text or Excel file you import from or export to. Once created, you can use a Conversion Spec for future conversion with the same source without having to configure the process a second time. The Data Link screen is your primary interface for creating and using Conversion Specs.
