Yes. Both applications can run side by side. We do recommend uninstalling Passwords Plus 1 after upgrading to Passwords Plus CS.

- I have Passwords Plus 1 installed, what happens to my database when I install Passwords Plus CS?
When Passwords Plus CS is installed, it makes a copy of the data from Passwords Plus 1 and converts it to the new database format to be used in Passwords Plus CS. Both applications can then run side by side and after upgrading, data changes do not impact each other.

- Which devices are supported?
Passwords Plus CS supports Apple devices running iOS 4.0 and above. (iPad, iPad2, 2nd and 3rd generation iPod Touch, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S). The desktop application supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

- How much does Passwords Plus cost?
The desktop application for Windows is currently a free download! The application for your iOS device is typically $9.99 but there are specials running in the App Store all the time so check there for the latest price. Click here to purchase.

- Do you have a version of Passwords Plus for Mac OS?
Currently there is no desktop application for Mac OS, however, we are hard at work on a version that will support Mac OS including the new OS 10.7 (Lion). To sign up for notifications/updates, please submit a request here.

- Can I have more than one “user” set up in Passwords Plus?
Currently, you cannot sync with multiple users with Passwords Plus CS. However, more than one person can use the same database (a spouse, for example). Just have both people use the same Master password, email address, and SyncID when setting up their SamePage (cloud) account.

- Can I install on multiple devices?
Yes, you can install on multiple Windows powered desktops for free! Once you purchase a license through the App Store/iTunes, you can install on multiple iOS devices as well (running iOS 4.0 or above) under the same iTunes account per the App Store License Agreement.

- Can I synchronize with multiple devices?
Yes! In order to use the synchronization feature, you must purchase a license through the App Store/iTunes. After installing the application on each device, you can set up your SamePage account on each device. Please note that you must set up the cloud sync on an iOS device first before setting up on your Windows PC.

- How do I know my data is secure on the “cloud?”
We use 256-bit AES encryption in order to keep your data secure. This is the encryption authorized by the US Government for use with data up to the TOP SECRET level. As for the cloud itself, it is also secure. So your cloud data is locked TWICE. And no one has your Master Password to open your Passwords Plus file except for you. We have no way of recovering this data for you because we don’t store it anywhere. This is for your protection and is the best way to ensure your data is safe.
