PDF To Go & Device Compatibility
Documents To Go 8 and above supports native PDF where desktop conversion isn't needed in order to open the file on your handheld or smartphone. Being able to process a native PDF file on the handheld or smartphone does require a more powerful device in terms of Dynamic Heap Memory, processor speed and even screen resolution.
Please also note that Documents To Go 9 has dropped support for a variety of devices. Please see the supported devices for additional information.

What is Dynamic Heap Memory?
Memory on your Palm OS device is split into two main segments - the Dynamic Heap and the Storage Heap.
The Storage Heap contains all of your programs and databases. Basically, the storage heap acts almost like a hard drive and is designed for long-term storage of data.
The Dynamic Heap contains the data that is currently being used by the program that is running, sort of like RAM on your PC. Any data that an application needs to access quickly and easily is stored in the Dynamic Heap while the application is running. When you exit the application, any data that is in the Dynamic Heap is then erased.
Is there a way to increase Dynamic Heap Memory on my device?
There is an application called "Fargo Heap Resizer" or FHR which can help extend the dynamic heap of a Tungsten T, T2 and Zire 71. To find out more about this application, please visit:
http://fanoush.webpark.cz/palm/fhr.html
Notes: This application ONLY supports the Tungsten T, T2 and Zire 71. DataViz does not provide support for this application. Please refer to the developer's site for more information.
