What are the requirements for installing/using Documents To Go?
In order to install and use Documents To Go, you must be using a supported iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Full system requirements can be found here.

How do I re-install Documents To Go on my iPad, iPhone or iPod touch?
If you previously purchased Documents To Go for your iOS device but have uninstalled it, you can find redownload steps here.

What is the difference between "Documents To Go Free" and "Documents To Go Premium"?
"Documents To Go Free" lets you:

  • View, edit & create Word and Excel files.
  • View &, edit PowerPoint files.
  • View iWork, PDF and other files.
  • Select, advanced features are now available via in-app purchase.

"Documents To Go Premium" includes all the functionality that "Documents To Go Free" includes, plus these additional features:

  • Cloud file access: View, edit & sync files stored in iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, and SugarSync
  • Desktop Sync: Transfer your files from your Mac or Windows computer to your iOS device via Wi-Fi, using the Docs To Go Desktop app (included with purchase).
  • Password Protected file access: Open, edit, and save password protected Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF* files. *PDF files are view only.
  • Advertising free: no in-app advertising in the purchased, Premium version.

How large is Documents To Go?
Documents To Go requires 50MB+ of free device memory to install (not including the files/documents you use in Docs To Go).

Does DataViz offer volume/site licensing?
Due to the current nature of the Apple App Store, DataViz does not offer discounted volume/site licensing pricing.

Are localized versions of Documents To Go available?
Yes, Documents To Go v3.3. and above is available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.

Does Documents To Go support bi-directional synchronization with a computer?
Yes, desktop synchronization is available with the purchase of Docs To Go Premium or via the 'Desktop Sync' in-app purchase option in Docs To Go Free. A Wi-Fi connection is required, your router must support 'multicasting', and your iOS device and computer must be on same network. Windows and Mac requirements.
