2. I purchased Documents To Go Full Version 2 for my Android OS. How do I install the free update to version 3?
==>>If you purchased Docs To Go Version 2 direct through DataViz, you can upgrade to Docs To Go Version 3 for free.
There are 2 ways to receive the update to version 3 if you purchased direct:
1) Open Docs To Go on your phone and hit menu>>check for updates. This will bring you to the Android Market. Download the Documents To Go Main app version 3.0 (it should list this as "FREE")
2) Send the download link from DataViz to your Android.
Please ensure that once you have installed Documents To Go Version 3 on your Android phone that you also "activate" the product.
To do so:
1. Open DTG on the phone
2. Open [menu]->"Settings"->"About"
3. Press menu again in the "About" screen and select "Activate"

I receive a "No Key Found" error when trying to activate Documents To Go Version 3.

**Please Note: You need to update both the Main app and the Full Version Key to properly activate version 3 full version:
1) Launch the Market application on the Android phone
2) Select the Search menu, and search for "Documents To Go" or "DataViz"
3) This should find two apps: "Documents To Go 3.0 Main App" and "Documents To Go Full version Key 3.0"
4) Select each app and install the updated versions
5) When the installation is complete, open the Documents To Go app to make sure it works.

If for some reason you need to reinstall the software because you received a new device, had to hard reset a device or uninstalled a previous version, simply launch Android Market and go to 'My Downloads.' You will be able to redownload and install any of your previously purchased software, including Documents To Go, so long as you are logged into the same Google account that you originally made the purchase.

8. How do I set up my Google Docs account on my Android?
Documents To Go Full Version 3.0 supports document synchronization with Google Docs. If you do not have a Gmail account set up yet, please click here to set up your Google Docs account.
You can download files from your online account directly to Documents To Go on the device, and any changes you make can be saved and synchronized back to that online account. You can also create new files in Documents To Go and upload them to your account.
To set up online file synchronization in Documents To Go, follow these steps:
1. Open Documents To Go on your device
2. Tap on Google Docs
3. Enter your Email and Password for your Google Docs account
4. Tap Ok
5. Return to the home screen in Documents To Go and tap Google Docs to access your account
9. I purchased Documents To Go Full Version and now I have 2 icons/apps on my Android. Can I uninstall one of these apps?
When purchasing Documents To Go, you need 2 applications to remain installed on the Android device (Documents To Go 3.0 Main App and Documents To Go 3.0 Full Version Key).
You can hide one of these icons by following these steps:
1. Open Documents To Go on your Android
2. Tap your Menu button and choose "Settings"
3. Choose "Advanced Options"
4. Check the box that says "Hide Premium Key" and hit Ok
10. When trying to pair or synchronize my Android device with my computer, I receive the error "No Device Connected" but my device is connected. Why is this happening?
When pairing or synchronizing your Android with your computer, you need to ensure that USB Storage Mode is on or that the SD card is mounted or you will receive the error "No Device Connected". To turn on USB Storage mode and synchronize your files:
1) Open the Docs To Go app on your Android device (if your software is not registered already please do so)
2) Connect the device to your computer using your device's USB cable
3) From the top left corner on the Android device, tap and slide your finger from the top down of the device to pull down the notification bar. Tap "USB Connected" or "USB Connection"
4) Choose "Turn on USB Storage", "Mount", or just "USB Storage Mode" (options available for selection depend on the device you are using)
5) Hit the Back button on your Android if necessary to return to the main Docs To Go screen on your Android
6) Open the Docs To Go desktop component on your desktop computer (here is the desktop app if you didn't download it already: http://www.dataviz.com/getdesktop) and follow the installation wizard to pair with the device
7) Once you successfully pair you can synchronize your files while the device is in USB Storage mode/SD card is mounted
8) Add your files/folders you'd like on the handheld into the desktop component by selecting either "add folder" or "edit folder" and press the Sync icon on the desktop to begin your synchronization
9) Once you complete the synchronization you need to "Turn off USB storage mode" or "Dismount" the card by tapping and holding your finger in the top left corner of the device to drag down the notification bar and tap on "Turn Off USB Storage" or "dismount"
10) Disconnect the device from the USB cable and walk away with your device and your selected files!
