Download Maintenance Explanation

DataViz currently hosts installers for all of our products going back over 8 years. DataViz has always provided customers with an opportunity to redownload software, regardless of the version. This has become extremely expensive and for this reason, in order to continue to offer customers the opportunity to redownload software, DataViz instituted a new policy called Download Maintenance.

Customers who purchase software from DataViz are entitled to download the software up to 5 times for the first 30 days after their purchase (at no charge). After the 30 days is up, if you need to download the installer, you can purchase Download Maintenance. This maintenance allows you to download the software up to 10 times during a 12 month period for a cost of $2.99.

Customers that receive their software bundled with a handheld/smartphone are entitled to download the software up to 5 times for 30 days after they register with DataViz. After 30 days, if you need to download the installer, you can purchase Download Maintenance. This maintenance allows you to download the software up to 10 times during a 12 month period for a cost of $4.99.

In addition, our website now strongly advises all customers to download and backup the installer after purchase to eliminate the need to purchase Download Maintenance. This policy is common practice among software companies and has been for several years. Prices that some websites charge can run up to $10.00. By charging $2.99 - $4.99, DataViz is trying to cover the cost of these downloads so we can continue to provide customers with the ability to redownload all versions of our products.

How Do I Redownload My Software?

In order to redownload your software, simply visit our Download Area. You may need to log in with your last name and product registration number. Once logged in, you can proceed to see a list of software you have registered with us as well as your download options.
