Being able to work for a company like DataViz is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Even though DataViz is the only company I've ever worked for; to me it has all the characteristics of a great company. The work is always stimulating and never stagnant, there are lots of opportunities to learn and to advance, the people always come first, the concept of team is taken very seriously, and of course the pay is excellent.

I graduated from the University of Connecticut in December of 1995 with a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing. I heard about DataViz through the Career Fair at UConn and joined DataViz in January 1996. I joined DataViz because I felt working in the software industry would be exciting. The people I had met during the interview process also conveyed to me that DataViz, as a company, really cared about their employees; where everyone worked hard but also played hard. I wanted to work for a company where I would not dread coming to work every morning and where I would be given opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

Like everyone else who starts at DataViz, I began my career in Sales and Tech Support. This was where I learned about our products, our business model and our customers. A lot of what I do currently for the Marketing Department depends on my understanding of the concepts and experiences that I've acquired in Sales and Support.
