Answers:

  1. I still have Passwords Plus 1 installed on my desktop, can I install Passwords Plus?

    Yes. Both applications can run side by side. We do, however, recommend uninstalling Passwords Plus 1 after upgrading to Passwords Plus.

  2. I have Passwords Plus 1 installed. What happens to my database when I install Passwords Plus CS?

    When Passwords Plus CS is installed, it makes a copy of the data from Passwords Plus 1 and converts it to the new database format to be used in Passwords Plus. Both applications can then run side by side and after upgrading, data changes do not impact each other.

  3. Which devices are supported?
    Passwords Plus supports devices running iOS 4.3 and above, Android version 2.1 and above, Windows Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 and Mac OS 10.5 and above.

  4. How much does Passwords Plus cost?
    The desktop applications for Windows and Mac sell for 19.99. Versions for iOS and Android are each $9.99.

    Yes! We released a Macintosh application in September 2012.

  7. Can I have more than one “user” set up in Passwords Plus?
    Currently, you cannot sync with multiple users with Passwords Plus CS. However, more than one person can use the same database (a spouse, for example). Just have both people use the same Master password, email address, and SyncID when setting up their SamePage (cloud) account.

  8. Can I install on multiple devices?
    Yes, you can install on up to 5 Windows powered desktops. You can also install on multiple iOS devices and Macs under the same iTunes/Mac store account per the App Store License Agreement. Multiple users under the same Google Play account can also install the app.

  9. Can I synchronize with multiple devices?
    Yes! You must purchase a license for each OS in order to do this (one for iOS, one for Android and either Mac, Windows or both). After installing the application on each device, you can set up your SamePage account on each device. Make sure to use the same email and Sync ID on each device in order for your information to all synchronize.

  10. How do I know my data is secure on the “cloud?”
    We use 256-bit AES encryption in order to keep your data secure. This is the encryption authorized by the US Government for use with data up to the TOP SECRET level. As for the cloud itself, it is also secure. So your cloud data is locked TWICE. And no one has your Master Password to open your Passwords Plus file except for you. We have no way of recovering this data for you because we don’t store it anywhere. This is for your protection and is the best way to ensure your data is safe.
